Gray Knob Kennels has a brand-new, state-of-the-art grooming shop where our certified Master Groomer can accommodate all breeds. Although we specialize in toy, terrier, and non-sporting breeds, we can also work on large dogs and cats! Our grooming services are available at competitive prices, with a caring staff and a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.

Full-breed grooming includes bathing, fluff drying, nail trimming, clipping to breed standards, and brush outs. Prices vary with breed. Please ask for a quote when checking in. Our staff is committed to quality, so if you are not satisfied with our grooming service, we will offer a discounted price and redo the groom. If you are happy with our service, we ask that you refer a friend and we'll give you $5.00 off your next groom.

We subscribed to the highest pet industry standards in the care and grooming of your pet. Our grooming staff undergoes special training before they begin their job. We have an ongoing concern for the humane treatment of all pets.

Grooming Services

Bath & Trim

• The Humane Bath – Your pet is lovingly handled by well- trained bathers. Emphasis is placed on your pet’s comfort and safety. Your pet’s eyes, ears, and other sensitive areas are protected.

• The Trim – Highly trained and qualified pet groomers trim your pet. Master/Professional groomers will trim your pet to your request or if you prefer, we will select the most popular and fitting style for your pet.

• Your pet is observed for any health problems and you will receive a report of these observations every time your pet is groomed.

Your pet’s ears are checked, cleaned and deodorized.

The anal gland is expressed.

Flea and Tick dip is used as needed at an additional cost.

Your pet is fluffed dried using strict standards. (We do not use hot cage dryers)

Ill, Aged or Disabled Pets

Please let us know about your pet’s special needs. (Directions for special shampoos should be in writing)

Additional charges may apply to special conditions requiring extra time and effort.

These include:

• Severely knotted or matted coats.

• Pets with severe behavior issues.

• We will do our very best to inform you of these additional charges, if warranted, at check-in time.
